Frequently Asked Questions...

Where can I park?

As I am a home based salon, clients can park on our driveway for short time to drop off and collect their pooch. Please wait at the side gate, and ring the bell. As I am a one to one groomer, please take every care to be on time, so it does not impact on the next groom.

What is a meet, greet & treat?

This is a complimentary session to help familiarise your dog with me and the grooming environment. It will last around 20 minutes, where I can meet, greet and treat your pooch and assess your pet’s behaviour, their coat condition, learn about their lifestyle, grooming history and grooming requirements. You will receive a copy of our terms and service and if you are happy, we can schedule your dog's next appointment. I can also give you more information about our spa upgrades and how to become a VIP!

What age can I book my puppy in?

As soon as possible! Puppies should be brought in as soon as they have had all their vaccinations, ideally from 12 weeks. The earlier the better to get them socialised with the grooming environment and process. I offer puppy pamper packages for all breeds, which are designed to be gentle, slow and steady to help them become accustomed to the grooming process.

How often should I have my dog groomed?

I will always recommend a grooming schedule based on your dog’s coat type and lifestyle and I can discuss some options with you after their initial appointment. Typically a schedule for wool and wool mix breeds such as poodles, bichons, cockerpoos & labradoodles will be anywhere in-between 6-8 weeks.

Can you groom dogs with skin conditions or allergies?

Yes, I am able to groom pets with sensitive skin or allergies (depending on what these are), as the products I use contain natural ingredients which are kind to pets and the environment.

Can I stay and watch while you groom my pet?

As your pooch loves you very much they will wiggle and move around trying to get close to you which is not safe while we are grooming. It is best to drop off your pooch at their scheduled appointment time, then return when the treatment is finished. Your pooch will be in excellent hands and I will call you if there are any queries.

Can I bring my own dog treats and a toy that they like?

Yes of course you can! This is a lovely thing to do as it gives your dog a sense of home. Dogs respond well to this and I am more than happy to give them your specific treats and keep the toy close to them during the groom.

What if I am not happy with the service my dog receives?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the groom received, please advise me within 2 business days so I can do my best to rectify the groom.  Pet parents satisfaction is important to me. I take great pride in my grooming and styling services and I want my pooch’s parents to as well.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, all major credit/debit cards, Apple pay and Google pay.
